Who attends the Partners Worldwide International Summit?

All of those who have an interest in fighting poverty: Businesspeople, students, church leaders, community leaders, network leaders, and more. 
Whether you’re new to Partners Worldwide or a long-standing member of our network, this event is a great opportunity to learn more about our work and how you can join the movement to end poverty through business. .

When and where is it?

The event takes place from October 18-19, 2018 in Grand Rapids, MI at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park.

What kinds of breakouts and speakers will there be?

The Partners Worldwide International Summit will feature keynote sessions, interactive workshops, and networking time with businesspeople and community leaders.

I've registered. When and where do I check in?

Check-in opens at 7:30am on October 18, 2018 at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park.

Will the PW Intl. Summit be streamed or recorded?

We don’t currently have plans to stream or record the Summit.

Will meals be provided?

Yes, lunch will be provided on both days. If you’re staying at Country Inn & Suites near Frederik Meijer Gardens, they also provide a free breakfast each morning.

Registration & Payment


What is the cost to attend?

A full-priced ticket is $350, but we have special rates for early birds, students, and international attendees. See our Event Page for information on ticket prices.

What is included in the full event price?

Your ticket gets you full access to the Summit. That’s October 18-19, 2018 from 8am to 5pm, including lunch on both days. You’ll hear speakers, take part in breakouts, and network throughout your time there.

How do I register for breakouts?

After you’ve registered, you’ll be send info (Summer of 2018) on all of the breakouts and speakers the Summit will offer. You’ll then be able to select what you’d like to attend and put together a personal schedule for your time at the Summit.

How do I obtain a US Visa if I'm traveling internationally?

First, you will have to determine, based on which country you live in, the requirements for a US Nonimmigrant Visitor Visa. Partners Worldwide will provide a letter of invitation for you to submit to the embassy with your application. Email info@partnersworldwide.org to inquire about a letter of invitation.

Can I register at the door?

No, we will not offer at-the-door registration. Please register here instead.

When does registration close?

Registration closes October 11, one week before the Summit begins.

Are there Partners Worldwide International Summit hotels available for booking?

May I stay somewhere else?

Yes. Partners Worldwide isn’t responsible for your housing during the event, but we do offer a discounted hotel near the summit for your convenience. You are free to stay wherever you please.

Is there a deposit required to hold my hotel room?

No, your room will be reserved with a credit card.

Cancellations & Substitutions


What is the Summit cancellation policy?

You may cancel your ticket for a full refund up to 30 days before the Summit begins.

What is the weather like in Grand Rapids in October?

The weather in October is between 45 and 65 degrees Fahrenheit (7-18 Celsius).

Which airports are closest to Grand Rapids?

Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) – 15 minutes from Grand Rapids.
O’Hare International Airport (ORD) – 4 hours from Grand Rapids.
Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) – 3 hours from Grand Rapids.

How do I get from the airport to the Summit?

If you are staying in Country Inn & Suites, the airport is 6.7 miles away. Check with Country Inn & Suites about an airport shuttle or the other hotel in which you are staying. Grand Rapids also has Uber, Lyft, and taxi services for you to transport yourself from the airport to your hotel.

How do I get from the hotel to the Summit at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park?

Partners Worldwide will be offering a shuttle service that brings residents of Country Inn & Suites to the venue. If you’re staying at a different hotel, you’ll be responsible for your transportation to the Summit.
